About these terms

These terms apply when a business ("you") sends Kayyal a price sheet or joins Kayyal as a supplier. Kayyal is operated by Homes of Substance Investment FZCO, a company licensed by the International Free Zone Authority (IFZA), Dubai, United Arab Emirates (licence no. 61603) ("Kayyal", "we"). By ticking the box on the price sheet, the person submitting it confirms they may accept these terms for the business, and accepts them.

Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal data.

1. Founding Supplier listing

1.1 A business that sends a completed price sheet before Kayyal's public launch, and that we accept, gets Founding Supplier status: a free listing on Kayyal for life, meaning for as long as Kayyal runs a supplier directory, with a Founding Supplier badge.

1.2 We may change, add or remove listing features over time, but Founding Suppliers will always keep a free basic listing.

1.3 We may refuse, suspend or remove a listing and its badges if the business gives false or misleading information, misuses a badge or the Kayyal name, acts unlawfully or abusively towards homeowners, or no longer holds the licence it needs to trade. We will tell you why by email, unless the law prevents us.

1.4 A listing is not an endorsement of your work and does not guarantee any position or ranking.

2. "Kayyal Verified Pricing" badge

2.1 We award the badge to suppliers whose trade licence we have checked and whose price sheet we have reviewed. If we publish more detailed criteria, those criteria apply.

2.2 You may show the badge only in the form we supply, only for the business it was issued to, only while it is active, and only on your own website, social media profiles and printed material.

2.3 You may not alter the badge, suggest that it covers another business, product or price, or that Kayyal endorses a specific quote, or use the Kayyal name or logo in any other way without our written permission.

2.4 The badge is a free, revocable permission. If we withdraw it, for example because a licence has expired, the badge was misused or information was false, you must remove it everywhere within 14 days.

3. Three free months of Premium Supplier

3.1 Founding Suppliers get 3 months of the Premium Supplier plan free. No payment card is needed. The free months start when we switch the plan on for you, which will not be before Kayyal launches in your emirate.

3.2 After the free months, the plan costs AED 499 a month plus 5% VAT, but only if you choose to continue. We will remind you before the free period ends. If you do not sign up, your account simply returns to the free listing; nothing is charged automatically.

3.3 You can cancel a paid plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid; paid months are not refunded unless the law requires it.

3.4 Premium features are described on our website and may evolve. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change.

4. Referral months

4.1 For each other business you refer that sends a completed price sheet, that we accept, and that tells us you referred it (in the notes on its sheet or by email), you get one extra free month of the Premium Supplier plan.

4.2 Referral months are added after your 3 free months, up to 12 extra months in total. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Businesses under the same ownership as yours do not count.

5. Client quote requests

5.1 If you opt in on the price sheet, we forward client quote requests that match your trades and the emirates you serve. You can opt in or out at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to [email protected].

5.2 We do not guarantee any number, size or value of requests, or that any request will lead to work. Which requests match is our judgment.

5.3 Forwarding requests is free and there is no pay-per-lead charge. If we ever introduce a fee, it will apply only once you have agreed to it in writing, and it will be shown to buyers.

5.4 Any contract is between you and the client; Kayyal is not a party to it. You are responsible for your quotes, work, licences and insurance. We share a homeowner's details only with their permission, and you may use them only to answer that request.

6. Your price submissions

6.1 We use your prices only anonymised and combined with other suppliers' prices, and show them only as ranges or statistics by trade and emirate. We never show them under your name, and never sell or share them individually.

6.2 You confirm the prices are genuine and given in good faith on the date you send them. They are not an offer to any homeowner, and they do not oblige you to quote those prices to anyone.

6.3 You give Kayyal a free, non-exclusive and permanent right to use your prices in that anonymised, combined form, including in published price ranges and indices.

6.4 If you withdraw, we leave your prices out of future updates. Ranges already published are not recalled.

6.5 Your quarterly price report is private to you and is for guidance only.

7. Independence

7.1 Sponsorships, paid listings, Premium plans, referrals and price submissions never affect any Kayyal Score, fair range or ranking. Sponsored placements are always labelled "Sponsored | إعلان".

7.2 Warnings in Kayyal reports name practices, never companies.

8. Liability

8.1 The free benefits are provided as they are. To the extent UAE law allows, Kayyal is not liable for indirect loss or loss of business or profit, and our total liability to you in connection with these free benefits is limited to AED 1,000.

8.2 Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.

9. Changes and ending

9.1 We may update these terms. We will email you at least 30 days before an important change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can leave at any time.

9.2 You can end your participation at any time by emailing [email protected]. Sections 6.3, 6.4, 8 and 10 continue to apply after that.

10. Governing law

10.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

10.2 These terms are published in English and Arabic. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails, to the extent the law allows.
